Pricing explained

I believe in transparency when it comes to pricing my artwork. Here's a breakdown of how my prices are determined:

Hourly Rate: I charge 15 euros per painted hour, reflecting the time invested in each piece.

Frame and Construction: Additionally, I include the hours spent constructing the frame and canvas, as well as framing costs, in the total price.

Administration: I allocate 2 hours for administrative tasks related to each artwork, such as photography, listing on my webshop, and other paperwork.

Materials: The cost of materials, including canvas, paint, and brushes, is added to the hourly rate.

Tax: For paintings, I apply a 9% VAT rate, while prints are subject to a 21% VAT rate, calculated on the total price.

For example painting 'Serenity in the grass'

Hours painted: 32x15= 480 euro

Hours on frame and construction: 3x15= 45 euro

Hours on administration: 2x15=30 euro

Materials: 130 euro (frame included)

Tax: 61,65 euro

Total: 746,65

By accounting for these factors, I ensure fair and transparent pricing for my customers. If you have any questions about my pricing structure, feel free to contact me. Thank you for supporting independent artists!
